Teacher on trial for attempted murder of pupil

The trial is underway of a teacher accused of attempting to murder a pupil at a school in Nottinghamshire. 50-year-old science teacher Peter Harvey is accused of attacking a 14-year-old boy at All Saints' Roman Catholic School in Mansfield last July. The pupil suffered a fractured skull after allegedly being hit in the head with a 3kg dumbbell.
