Teachers say they need more athletics training

New research has found that more than half (54 per cent) of headteachers and deputy heads think their PE staff need more training to teach athletics effectively. The ICM poll, carried out for the Aviva Elevating Athletics Fund, also found that 62 per cent of the teachers asked think their school lacks the facilities needed to teach athletics effectively.
